We are Aleksandra Godlewska and Joanna Sękiewicz. We are both graduates in mathematics, which shapes the way we analyze the data we work with every day. We are also sisters, which often allows us to understand each other without words. Although we have different professional backgrounds, for several years now, our common denominator has been reporting in Microsoft Power BI.

I have extensive and varied experience in collaborating with businesses from many different domains, which has exposed me to a diverse range of business areas, reporting needs, and challenges. I enjoy working with demanding clients on a daily basis, those who expect custom solutions from Power BI, yet still feasible to implement on a large scale for a broad audience. I believe in the power of visual communication and am convinced that beauty and aesthetics play a crucial role in reporting, defining the hallmark of our work. Therefore, I continuously refine my expertise in artistic data visualization.

My initial projects with Power BI required presenting data in unconventional ways, prompting me to seek out the most flexible types of visualizations. Thus, when I come across requirements that exceed standard visualizations, my go-to is always Deneb. I avoid workarounds that could significantly compromise performance: better to have one complex viz than ten stacked on top of each other. I approach business tasks and challenges like mathematical puzzles — not asking “Can this even be done in PBI?” but rather “How can this be done in PBI?”.
